OK - I'm looking for some more help and a "last chance" for the FED 1g.
Since servicing, it has developed a strange habit where 90% of the pictures will be out of focus, and the odd one will be reasonable. It's become like the little girl with a curl!
I've tried all manner of things when opening the lens, but it seems to matter not. I post two near identical shots from the other week, from adjacent frames on the same roll of ColorPlus. I'm puzzled, as is the person who did the service. Can anyone suggest anything which could be "off", please?
For the record, the shots were taken on the FED 1g, with Leitz Elmar 5cm, f3.5 lens at infinity, probably around f9-f12.
Any help appreciated? Should I try it with the FED 5cm lens on it?
Thanks!
