Fed up with Fuji X - TL2?

I have no negative comments in regards to Fujifilm cameras and lenses.

Currently I use the Fujifilm X-T5 camera (with a variety of Fujinon lenses) more than any other camera. I like it a lot, it works for me and it feels good in my hand.

Also, I use a Sony A7III camera with my Cosina M-mount lenses. Always a satisfying experience.

Menus are menus... I learn what I need to know to set up my cameras the way I want to and it's no big deal... life goes on.

All the best,
Mike

I have found OOC JPEGs from all of them are unpredictable for colour, most notably when using adapted lenses. Doesn't matter the lens or the era - from 1930s uncoated rangefinder lenses to 1970s coated SLR lenses. Doesn't matter if I set the white/colour balance to auto or dial it in manually - it can change from one shot to the next, despite nothing else changing at all, and I have no idea why. A lot of the time it skews oddly purple.
I had this with my Sony A7S and A7R2 with old manual lenses. With a Sigma DG lens, colour was perfect but I get distinct orange, pink or yellow casts with my particular old lenses. AWB didn't help, nor custom WB.

I had been hankering after a T/TL/TL2 as a sort of upgrade for my GXR that might've been able to use my SA lenses as well as LTM/M ... but SA are out because not all L's are equal (Sigma SA-L adapter won't work on T series). And the T sensor apparently isn't as good as the GXR/M for RF lenses so wouldn't really be an improvement (and the GXR is rugged). Which for me left the T series using Leica T glass I'd have to buy ... and Leica's APS-C dalliance is over (for now)... Plus there are/were enough reports of touch screen issues - whic already seemed a likely weak point to me, as are flexing ribbon cables in lenses (yeah, X70 probably has one...)... So overall, no T series for me. Yet.

I have the SL2 and am happy with it for both L mount and M lenses with M/L adapter. The SL should be a decent camera. I have never shot with the SL but people I know say they’ll never part with theirs.

SL series or TL? I haven’t considered SLx at all, maybe I should now that I’m acquiring full frame L mount lenses for the BF. But SLx seems like it would be a duplication of my Nikon Z gear, especially.

Don't forget about the Panasonics too. That is what is so nice about L mount, lots of choices in bodies and lenses.
