FED & ZORKIS with 'Quality' lenses?

2nd bump! I'd also like to know which of the Leica lenses can be used on the Z4 (heheh, I like my Zorki already, and I haven't put a film through it yet).

The Summar F 1/2 should fit any FSU Leica mount camera. The tele Hektor 135mm has a tongue shaped cam and it can have serieus problems when mounting.
I attached a picture taken with a Zorki-1 and a Industar 22, as promised. It didn't look like it would perform like this. :)

Hmmm, at first I wonder if it's my eyes or monitor, but the picture looks ... "blotchy" meaning, where I expect to see texture or detail, I instead saw a watercolor-like washed "blob".

I am new to FSU camera and lenses, so I don't know if this a typical result from this combination...

Well if you look to the bushes at the left for example, I agree. I noticed the same effect in several other pictures. The picture was shot at F 5,6 at 1/100 (as far as I can remember) The Industar 22 lens has only 4 elements. The image is quite "soft". A lense with a larger aperture (the Jupiter 8 for instance) will create more texture and detail in the dept of field area.

Greetings :)

up... about elmars on Z4?
Shouldn't be a problem on Z4s. On Fed 3->5s though you may
experience some interference. Russian lens flanges are cut a
little differently so that an Elmar will screw in just a little short, which
brings the focusing lever at infinity right over a raised section of the body.
This is the case at least with my '38 Elmar.

I think Raid Amin uses japanese LTM lenses on his Zorki 4 and 4k.

Yes, I do. It is the lens that has the most effect on the resulting images [with the help of the photographer] and it is not the camera body unless it does not function properly.
