Fethers and flowers taken with a Hasselblad and a macro. To play with light and color to get a kind of abstract art.

Some spectacular photographs here.
As a printed record of shots taken the book serves its purpose well.
However I feel that the unimaginative book design doesn't do justice to the contents which is a great shame
- black edging to the photos doesn't always set them off to best advantage
- uniform sizing of photos doesn't encourage me to turn to the next page
- some photos would be enhanced on coloured/tinted pages
- a good title page with an introduction would have 'lifted' the book
- a 'how I did it with what' couple of paragraphs would have rounded off the book nicely
- the book just hasn't got the 'wow' that it could and should have.
Am I being hard - probably, but I feel disappointed for the author that such great photos haven't resulted in an exceptional book.

Hi Jesse,
thanks for your kind and helping words.
I started this project quite a while ago with a feather lying around in the sun.
My wife is a great gardener so I collected some feathers and uses her flowers as background, because I am fascinated by the colors of the digital back on the Hasselblad. They remember me at pictures of the group so called “Blauer Reiter” in the early days of the last century.
Now I am waiting for the book to see the pictures in real. Then I might do a second version.
Sorry for my expression I am an old guy from Germany.
