Fedka repair

Just got back a Zorki 4 from Fedka that I sent for repairs. It had a faulty shutter speed selection. Repairs are a new service from Fedka. I'm very happy with the turnaround time and the service. Just thought I'd pass this along to anyone who needs an FSU camera repaired, as an option you might want to consider. I give Yuri 10 on a scale of 10.

Having bought several FSU cameras from Yuri, I can only say the best about Fedka. May I ask, what did the repair cost? I know that the Zorki 4 shutter speed selection is quite sensitive.

Yuri did a CLA on my Zorki 3m a while back.EXCELLENT ..........Robin

I paid for a CLA on a Fed 2d I picked up from a member here who claimed it had been CLAed and "pimped" by Oleg. I noted in my email to Yuri of this and of a problem with the shutter curtains. It came back nice and clean, with a smoother functioning lens. When I tried it out, the problem lessened, but was still there. Yuri told me to return it, no problem and promised to honor the warrenty. He is a fine guy and a smart businessman. His customre service is A+ and I am a forever customer of his thanks to this.
