Alright, there was that beautiful RIGID Opton Tessar 3.5 that had been totally forgotten in this barren cold corner of the Canadian 'bay (not Hudson, but e-). So much forgotten that it even got relisted, which got me bidding.
Oddly enough, only THEN did it attract other bidders (shills?). I let it go, but it still went for very cheap compared to the other ones currently for sale.
So, who got it? C'mon, I won't tell the wife...

'Twasn't me, but it sounds interesting; I don't think I have ever seen one of these. What was the number?
Cheers, eh?

It was not me, but I just grabbed a BIN Opton 85mm for a not unreasonable price in Germany. Yet another 85mm

All the best wishes to the happy owner of that Opton Tessar 50/3,5.
In my opinion, it's an extremely fine lens for general use and for those who like Tessar's sharpness.
Mine rigid Opton Tessar arrived with the Contax-IIa outfit bought at Westlicht in November 2011, and I've been immediately surprised by its quality in any condition. In the practical use, I see that it gives its best, when a proper lens shade is mounted.
