Hello i'd like to share a results of my first film developed with my 1936 Contax II + Sonnar 2/50. What are your opinions ;) ?

Yes it's quite old ... only 73 years old ;)
Unfortunately i do not have hoods for my lenses ... it's dificult to buy them here, so from time to time flare catches me ;)
 
Can't you make some kind of hood? What filter size does it take? The flare isn't really overwhealming, considering you shot almost straight into the sun...
 
The old Sonnar is a great lens. I use a Franka push-on lens hood or a Canon slip-on lens hood. A hood is needed to reduce the amount of glare.

The photos look nice.
 
The 5cm f2 Sonnar is a great lens, but as you saw in the first photo, needs a hood.

It uses 40.5mm filters, and the Russian push on hoods for the J-8 and J-3 work perfectly. I just gave my last one away. I use one from an old Nikkorex 35, which also uses 40.5mm filters.

Making one out of a plastic bottle is not hard, I've seen instructions on the Internet for doing this. I believe the person used a plastic milk jug for it. It's about the right taper for it.
