A few pictures of swedish fiddlers, enjoying the great tradition of "buskspel" - informal playing of traditional music in a strange mix of old friends and total strangers. (Mostly fiddles, a couple of other instruments as well) (CV 21/4)







I'm a fiddler myself and love pictures of people playing - please help me keep this running! :)
 
Nice photos! Keep this thread running as I need to make a run up to the mountains to get similar pictures of the local fiddlers!:)

To keep the thread running, here's one of the few times I've used the self-timer. I'm the one with the fiddle, my dad's playing guitar and the drummer is my brother.

It's about time for another one - here's the local "spelmanslag" playing at a service in the church where I work.

Time for some more fiddlers - and nyckelharpa! These are from the Oktoberstämma in Uppsala. First is the CV 21/4, the rest is Jupiter 8.
