I have both sizes and prefer the smaller one. It’s great for rangefinders kits. Or smaller digital cameras like Fujifilm X-E* series.

There is a soft divider that separates the main compartment. Leica CL in front left side. Contax IIa rear right. Zipper pocket for extra lens, film, or whatever. Has a great soft but not too soft feel. Padding isn’t too stiff either. View attachment 4869158

My Fjallraven Greenland came in, I stuffed it with an Ape Case insert. I really like this bag! Thank you so much for the recommendation.

I think my past BBB experience may be remembered through rose colored glasses. I’ve been playing with it again and decided it’s just too small for my M kit, and even for the BF and lenses. Plus the unpadded dividers are too short for most of what I’ve tried so far. I think it will work fine for my physically smaller X-E4 kit, though.

I also have another bag on the way from Rickshaw that was suggested on another forum (I think.) This one is similar in size to the Fjallraven.

I use Crumpler dividers. It’s good for an M with a lens, a bottle of water, wallet and a phone or mini tablet, but that’s about it.

I remembered that inserts for the Billingham Hadley Small fit nicely into a Lowepro Terraclime 100 ... fits two Leica M with lenses attached and room to spare, even two Olympus OM-SLR with lenses attached and space for additional lenses.

I’m glad you like it. While at the coast I had a Minolta Autocord in the back middle and rangefinders front left/right. It was a near perfect match.

I also brought a Contax NX and lens to test and see if I would like to use. Too many camera choices so I stuck with the TLR/ rangefinder combo while out walking around.
