Film backlog!

Wow! Nice backlog.
I always do two, sometimes three, tanks at the same time. That way I can do around 12 rolls an hour (using Paterson 3-reel tanks). Good luck

I read in a "Lost over Laos" that during the Vietnam war the photo journalists used to develop large quantities of film all at once in large pans, just like you would wash hair or your dog 🙂
I would try doing so by groups of 10 films maybe.

Thought that Phil's backlog is already a crazy amount

Reminds me a bit of the Vivian Maier backlog that was discovered...apparently she ran out of funds to process.

2,000 rolls of B&W (all have been since developed)
700 rolls of Ektachrome (still not developed)

About a week ago on Ontario Canada TV Channel "TVO" a documentary about V.M...
In the video one saw the developing of some rolls!
Agitation like I have never done or seen.
More like a wild bartender!Maybe necessary as the films are old ?
The Ektachrome may be a bigger headache if earlier E-4 process.

I try not to have more than 4~5 rolls to develop.😀
Occasionally i do 2 rolls on one reel..

Tonight I got my film dryer set up and started organizing my apartment for a massive session of black and white film development.

The irony of course being that you are in range of Philadelphia Photographics, which is a great b/w lab and fairly inexpensive.

I shoot about a hundred rolls of 120 a year, and if I get more than 20 rolls in the hole, I triage it into what can be lab processed and what can't.
