Looks like a Nikon F3, which was Nikon's flagship SLR in the early 1980s. Great find.

In Australia, most of these boxes end up with charity shops - Salvos, Vinnies or sort. So it's not free but you can still get incredible finds. I paid $10 for a Summicron-C 40/2 attached to a non-working CL. Then I sold the latter as defect for over $100! SO it's worth checking those charity shops as well.

Two nice Nikon F3HP, one Nikon FM, one Nikomat, one Olympus OM-1, one contax 139, two Polaroids. All Nikons are in working condition, two old 50mm f3,5 Macro. I guess the glory days for film is long gone, The 80-90's flagship F3HP, now is trash.
