I just found another use for the film canister lid. It fits perfectly on the rear of the Millennium Nikkor. And the cheap rear cap that usually comes with the AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 ( cloudy plastic one ) fits on front of lens--no more fear of loosing the front cap, and no more looking for rear cap!

Yes, I just discovered that the cloudy F-mount rear cap works as a front cap on the SC 1.4...cool stuff!

Ah! Thanks! I've been looking for a rear cap for my S.C. 5cm for a long time! I'll try out this budget cap tonight.
