it seems that since I stopped buying camera gear, I've started accumulating film.. my cache is probably small compared to many of you, but I just took inventory of my fridge and I've got just over 70 rolls of unused film.. and I'm always online looking for new deals

does this mean I have FAT? (Film Aquisition Tendencies)

Incidentally, I would love to hear about the inventories of people's film hoards, mostly because I feel like I have personally reached the threshhold of absurdity. Maybe hearing my inventory will make you feel better about your own:

2x 100' 400TX (top spool also partially eaten)
1x 100' EDUP slide film
6x 320TXP in 120
8x Acros 100 in 120
4 rolls (27exp?) 400tx, in 135

25-sheet box of 4x5" 320TXP, partially eaten
and, if the UPS isn't lying to me, I should also have, some time this evening:

I have over 150 rolls of film in my freezer (mostly B&W). I am always on the lookout for film on ebay or wherever. Do not despair- you are not alone in this weird endeavor.

I read this "starter" and the rest - so I know what you're all facing.

Now here's the scary part: WINTER'S COMING!!!!

How are you going to use all this film, folks!

Not to deny I too have a (mild?) case of FAT (see below).

But I think all we're getting a bit "spooked" (did someone say - Halloween?) about manufacturer's "abandoning" film.

Let's make a pre-Christmas resolution to "shoot out" all the film we currently have on hand ...

And then we can go crazy with FAT after New Year's Day!

Guilty. My freezer has loads of FP-4 sheet film in ULF sizes and 45 rolls of the last run of Verichrome Pan. Man, was that a good film or what?

About 20, depends on the loader, there's more waste with some.

I currently have 5 100' rolls of Tri X in my freezer. If Kodak ever announces that it is discontinuing Tri X, I may just fill the whole thing with Tri X 😉

About 13 as I recall. Been since 1979 for me to bulk load, though.

I have shot about 100 rolls of 36 exp of BW this year so far and all have been bulk loaded. I get 18 rolls of 36 plus a short roll of about 18-24 extra. I use that roll to test developers or to just shoot as normal.

Again I get 18 rolls of 36 exp from each 100' roll.

30 rolls Pan F+ - 36 exposure

40 rolls APX 100 - 120
20 rolls Pan F+ - 120

Plus another 30 or so rolls of assorted 35mm film

I've got 15 bottles of Rodinal. Began hoarding when I heard about the Agfa soap opera. Probably unnecessary - Rodinal might come out of it alive, and there are other non-Agfa makers - but who said that behaviour concerning your favourite photo technology is strictly logical? It has a logic of its own. Explaining it to non-photo people is sometimes difficult ...

About 100 135/36 Reala, and 50 135/36 Sensia. At home.

Also, I've got commercial premises nearby, and I put an old fridge in the kitchen area for cold drinks when I'm working there. No cold drinks in the fridge now - just film.

Only 4 135 rolls of Fortepan 400 and a roll of Fortepan 100 left. I'm broke 🙂

Ahright, and a few meters of 19cm wide aerial left.

Hope to restock soon with a couple of 60m Forte 400 bulks.
