Ignoble Miscreant
OK, this may be old news to some but not to all. It is three long YT segments all about film/analog and what is happening with it. I have a bunch of old film cameras, 35mm, and understand they are more in demand than ever. K-1000 anyone? These videos may explain why. I started with ASA - remember that? - 64 Kodachrome and Plus-X B&W which was ASA 100 IIRC. Tri-X came out at 200 ASA and was rocket fuel to us then. I'd get it in 200' spools and load my own cartridges which meant I was in the darkroom a lot. There was a thrill to looking at the long strips of B&W 35mm when they came out of the fixing bath and rinse. Pictures! Coded, of course, because they were negatives and all was reversed. And then the enlarging, cropping, dodging and burning. Contact sheets! I do miss it. But not enough to get back into film again.
