The reason you get two cameras is for when the first one breaks...
They look like a flash version of the 'Ultra Wide and Slim' cameras, which are quite fragile, especially the rewind crank.

Oh my god! I felt sure that HAD to be a spoof. Even looking at their website, I still couldn't believe this wasn't a spoof. Just goes to show that reality is weirder than anything a comedian can dream up.

Actually a lot of truth in that ad.
Know what, there is! Know something else? Something like this is what the other players in the film game should also be doing. There is good news about film, it has its place - this is targeted to luddites (obvs), but there's also the serious amateur segment, pros, etc. Why are none of the other remaining players in the film market other than Vivitar, apparently, marketing film? I applaud Vivitar, hokey commercial and all. I hope they're successful.
