Film is really dead...

The day will come when an electromagnetic pulse will render all of our gizmos useless... And the only things campanile of taking images? Film cameras!

How exactly will people get their hands on 120 and 35mm film if the machines that produce them are out of service? Did somebody forget that electricity is used by the machines that produce film? Sure, somebody else is going to claim they can make their own film on large pieces of glass on field cameras, but how practical is that for the majority of us? 😛

Ektar 100 has finer grain than that old 25.

But seriously, curious what non-digital funny stuff there will be. Besides lomographie freakies I guess the regulars like Alpa will be there, maybe Rolleiflex again with the lastest TLRs behind the glass, an odd MF or LF back and lens manufacturers in between, maybe the boring old Practica will have a stand making me go "WTF?!" every time. Few chinese stands hawking their Seaguls right off displays. Fuji will have GFs far away from the main stand with no attendant knowing what the hell they are. It's all good fun.

(Still - no free film, weak.)

Prostitution must be dead, too - none of the vendors at Photokina were giving out free hookers, from what I heard. 😀
