A scene from the Netflix series ‘House of Cards’, filmed just outside the west entrance of the Belvedere Hotel in downtown Baltimore, MD (it was meant to serve as a hotel in Washington, DC).

If you look really closely you might see an RFF member in the scrum. That’s right kids - not only a photographer in real life but he plays one on TV 🙂

As I recall, the Belvedere, in the early Seventies, was at the point of being demolished. It was scraping by as cheapo dorm housing for UMBC students and more than a few squatters. But of course, that was Baltimore at its nadir, home of John Waters and the Dreamlanders!
