Film Price and availibility in near and far future

I suppose someday we'll be back to coating our own plates and papers. This is assuming the 'Enviromental Forces' don't ban the chemicals we need! 😎

I imagine Silver nitrate is already very highly regulated, given its other properties

I think film people in general are really over-reacting about this - if you can still get platinum/palladium supplies, I think film-related supplies will be around for quite a while. That said, if anyone is interested in parting with their equipment at rock-bottom prices I'm sure someone will be interested here. 🙂

Ilford come along because of their strong inkjet market ?!?
AGFA never bother to anything than film and paper.

I believe the Ilford Inkjet materials are another company, not part of the Harmon/Ilford film group in England.

Agfa was one of the big players. One of the few to make color negative film, color slide film, as well as b/w films, Color papers as well as b/w papers, full range of processing chemistry, mini-lab machines, etc.

I think it is only Kodak and Fuji that currently make color negative film and Color slide film.
