Where on earth do you find such great deals?

My thought too -

Raid - was this stuff "fresh dated"?

Cheap Film in Canada???

Cheap Film in Canada???

I'd like to repeat what someone else said: Where can we get cheap film in Canada?

Last winter I looked in vain and ultimately ordered 100 36 exp rolls of Reala and other Fuji neg film from B&H and Adorama. Even with their outrageous shipping charges, 7% GST and Canada Post handling charges, it was still significantly cheaper than buying anywhere in Canada.

Again - anyone know of any good sources of cheap film in Canada????

If it's cheaper - why does it matter where the seller is? It's a global economy now.

I get Agfa Silvertone (APX) 100 and 400 for about $2.20 a 24exp roll and Downtown Camera in Toronto.
Vistek has Fuji Acros 36exp rolls on sale _ 20 roll brick for about $85.

Anyone who says the price of silver or fuel has gone up is a liar. Everything is the same. Don't read the news or pay attention to gasoline prices, they are cruel hoaxes, just refuse to listen to the naysayers.

Film prices going up are a hoax. They are not going up, they are going down. New emulsions are being introduced all the time. No film companies have gone out of business. No film companies have shut down production factories. It's all lies. Anyone who says that they went to their local Walgreens and found prices had gone up - or that there was less shelf space for film is OBVIOUSLY LYING.

That's right... silver, fuel, and film are NOT going up in price. I just paid the same price for them that I did 10 minutes ago.

Too bad that they do not shop to other countries than UK and channel islands. I thought the whole idea of the european union was to have a common market... 🙁

/Håkan

With a common curency and we haven't adopted the GBP yet 🙂

Another problem are tax exceptions not available outside the UK and the channel islands.

OTOH 7dayshop isn't that cheap, here in germany I have better options like Fotoimpex.

7Dayshop are cheap if you only buy 36 frame rolls etc. I usually buy bulk rolls which works out even cheaper.

I'll plan to try rolling my own one day. I bought a Watson 100 with some old catridges for my showcase. The cartridges are at least 40 years old, 20exp. Plus-X, ASA64 B/W film packaged by FSC L.A. C.A. and even some from Ansco.

Fomapan 100 is 26.68 Euro per 30.5 meter roll at Fotoimpex, and from their ad it looks good enough for my purposes.

Addox branded Ilford HP5 and FP4 are 23.08 Euro for a 10 pack, which is cheap enough for me and it is in reusable canisters!
