Film Qustion

The two films you have are actually color film without the color layers on it. So, you would process them with C-41. The "CN" in the name, I believe, stands for Color Negative.

I am not sure if the local supermarket will do it, but I believe walmart will. Check your local camera shop as well. I'd rather support them then the behemoth walmart.

In theory any supermarket/drugstore operation should be able to develop the C41 black and white emulsions, but it has been my experience that only camera shops and professional labs can print this stuff without adding a color cast to it.

yup. anyone can develop (c-41 is a standard process that is all machine-driven). not everyone can print properly.

FWIW - costco's "regular" mail processing is GREAT with c-41. perfectly neutral. this is not their 1-hour one.

I dropped off a roll of Kodak B&W C41 at my local Eckerds today and requested develop only/scan (no prints), and the response was a very nice "sure".

This roll was from a Tower 51 that I got for $10 + shipping; viewfinder is very dirty, and I'm not confident the film advance was working properly. But I put a roll through to test. I have high hopes for the lens, though.
