I was just reading the Product Support Bulletin at http://files.support.epson.com/pdf/rd1___/rd1___ps.pdf, and it mentions this feature after the firmware update (2.0). What is this referring to?

You have got four preset "film" types - basically tunes the output of the sensor in terms of saturation, brightness, contrast, edge enhancement, etc.
Fairly pointless if you shoot RAW as you can do all that in post if need be...
I also haven't noticed a significant difference in the film types. Would have been good if they'd given us presets for Tri-X, Kodachrome, Scala, and Velvia...

That's wht I thought, but the memo refers to portrait, landscape, and night shots.

I don't see those options anywhere in the menu, fortunately...
Unless they are the film types I'm referring to but they're not actually called night, portrait, and landscape...
