FILM Setting- Tint & Edge Sharpness?

I can't tell you. I don't use them. From the very first moment I set all settings to 0. I don't need in-camera adjustments. I do all of my adjustments pre-development in Epson PhotoRaw or post-development in PaintShop Pro.

I have a similar question(s)

There are three settings that one can customize, Film1-3. Do these setting effect the RAW image as well as the JPG or only the JPG?
Where do most of you find you set the settings to, the default camera values and use one of those, if so which one, or a custom setting and if custom what values do you use?
I think I saw somewhere the there are diopter correctors available for the viewfinder, can anyone point me to those?

I'm pretty sure the customized film settings only affect JPEG files.

If you shoot raw files, you can apply the same settings after-the-fact using the Epson raw file converter. This might be a good way to see what settings you prefer.

CameraQuest carries the R-D 1 diopter correction lenses, in strengths +3 through -3, for $17 each. You also can use the Nikon correction lenses designed for their round-eyepiece cameras such as the FM series. Note that older Nikon diopter lenses -- the ones with a wide metal rim -- won't fit the R-D 1 because the rim hits a ridge on the camera body below the finder eyepiece. The newer Nikon lenses with a narrow plastic lens will work.

I would have thought the adjustments only worked for jpg as well but I used the epson software for the first time, I have been using capture one, and it seems that even on the raw format the film settings are there. Further, I cannot change them for some reason.
