I know it is a longshot, but I recently moved to Kazakhstan and I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about getting supplies here. I may end up just doing a couple big Freestyle orders per year. I'm a couple hours north of Astana, so it isn't much trouble for me to get down that way once in a while. Anyhow, thanks in advance. (crossing my fingers, but not holding my breath)

not sure if it helps, but i recently found a iso 100 film called NOVA, out of Delhi. interesting thing is that it is supposed to be packaged from ilford. so i am thinking that maybe its a delta 100 film. if you could get it from online perhaps it is much cheaper ?

You ought to be able to find Chinese "Lucky" brand B+W film there. I really luv it and it's cheap.

Thanks, I will check out NOVA and Lucky. I was working in Hong Kong for three years, but I don't have many connections there anymore. Now the job has me in Kazakhstan for the next 2 years or so. The internet may be the way to go.

Good luck. I expect there are a ton of interesting stuff to photograph there....and we don't many members there (duh).

Hey everyone,

I did some more hunting...the only film in my small town is the sketchy stuff called Kodak Color Plus and Kodak Gold-- both are 200 iso (I've always ove iso 200 film). I seem to remember having good luck with Kodak gold in the past, so I am thinking I may try that one. I'm still working on the B&W stuff but I'm not so worried because of the internet and fedex.

I've always been a sparse shooter, but I'm making an effort to shoot more more more. I think the Kodak Gold is the way to go for the time being--anyone know any different?
