I may need some film sent ahead of time to Mt Tremblant, QC.
Is it easier to order from B&H or from a local source in Montreal?
What do I need in terms of film, Ektar, Neopan 1600, Fuji Pro 800Z,
basically a small variety.

B&H or Digitaltruth will PROBABLY be a cheaper option but will take more time for the delivery (especially at around Xmas times) and MIGHT be a subject to a Canadian customs fees. You can always order some from HENRYS.CA or downtowncamera.com they are both in Canada. Or some local store in Montreal...

Watch out for frostbite and cold weather battery failure. The coldest skiing temperatures that I've ever encountered were at Tremblant.

If you can make a stop in Montreal before heading to Tremblant, you can always get film at LL Lozeau on St-Hubert and Bellechasse or you can also try Camtec Photo, with a couple of locations in Old Montreal. The colour film tends to be somewhat more pricey in Canada (in general) than in the US but the B&W film is price-competitive.
