Film vs Digital - regrettable photos?

..has anybody been out with their digi and taken shots only to wish the b+w film was with them...

Everybody should have the experience of going through a box of 8X10 film, if only just once in a lifetime, to see what B&W quality CAN be.

Al, I'm on 5x7 now. And I'm already giggling like a little schoolgirl looking at the negative. At the moment, I am procuring a 5x7 enlarger from out of state (which is a story in itself ).

Maybe I'll cross path with 8x10 or bigger someday.
