I seem to remember some folks here suggesting that it's possible to convert the film loading system on LTM leicas to the faster loading M system. Does that sound familiar to anyone? How would it be done? Jim

I have heard of the M2 being updated to M4 style loading (M2-S?), but never for screw-mount bodies. Where did you see that?

Hi John, It was here when I got my Leica II I mentioned that I was surprised that it got a lot easier after a couple of rolls of to load. Someone mentioned it was even easier if I converted the loading system. I'll search it. Jim

You would need a spool with a slot in its base to slide the film into, possible but I've not seen one.
