I am curious to learn if anyone here is using any of the Filson/Magnum camera bags yet ( http://www.filson.com/magnum )?

These look like outstanding bags - having used some of Filson's other pieces of gear in the past few years, I have no doubt that these bags are extremely sturdy and will last forever - or at least they will outlast their owner.

My favorites are the #70144 backpack ( http://www.filson.com/products/phot...ge/rucksacks-and-backpacks&fmetaProduct=1019/ ) and the #70195 McCurry Sportsman's Bag ( http://www.filson.com/products/mccu...Cat=true&fvalsProduct=luggage&fmetaProduct=10 ).

Any thoughts on these two bags?

Yes I just bought the Harvey bag at the Filson store in Seattle. Great bag that doesn't scream $$$. It holds my ipad and two rangefinders with a couple extra lens. I bought another Filson bag and stuck an insert in it. It's a heavier bag, and made of cotton and wool. The Harvey bag is perfect for me, casual, functional & with a lifetime warranty. The bags are very well designed and made with high quality materials. I sold my Hadley Pro, and Domke. I'm using the Filson's exclusively.

If you are considering the Filson's, you can't go wrong.

I agree, they are not cheap, but how much did you spend for your camera gear? I did sell a few of my bags to pay for it. Filson will repair or replace any of their products forever, that is built in the price.

Don't know if they're available outside of the USA but, given the prices and the fact that I already have a Billingham Hadley, Billingham 225 and a number of Lowepros, I'll stick..... ;-))
