Filter Storage

So since inheritating my granfathers gear i have an overwhelming amount of filters laying arouns without storage.

How is everyone storing filters in there bag and not in there bag? particullary the small 39mm ones. I have thought about filter wallets but they tend to be aimed at the larger filters on todays DSLRs

You can get front and rear caps that screw into the filters. You screw a bunch of them together and then put the caps on. That's one idea. Try eBay for the caps. Otherwise, you need to find individual cases for them, or get the filter wallets. There are smaller ones out there (eBay again).
