( This probably belongs in the "Scale-Focus" Dept., but I figured I'd run it past the Retina fans first... ;) )

I have a lovely little Retina I, s/n 594xx, with Kodak Anastigmat Ektar f: 3,5 F= 5 cm in a Compur-Rapid shutter.

I'm pretty sure this is pre-War, and quite sure that the lens are uncoated.

What is / was available in the way of filters and lens hoods for this camera ?

Thanks ! :)

There are certainly filters available for the pre-war Retinas, as I have a couple. It's something like 21.5 or 23.5mm - rare, but the odd one turns up on you-know-where. Kodak also sold step-up rings for that size as well, so you can use larger glass.

Any help?

Thanks, Adrian...

Do your filters thread into/ onto the front of the lens ?

There does not appear to be much of a "filter-ring" to take a push=on / clip-on... ?

Most Retina I's I've seen take a 27mm slip-on hood. Kodak supplied screw-in filters with a 21.5mm thread size. The 27mm slip-on size for both filters and hoods was once very common. Zeiss made made several different choices in hoods and filters.

photo-widget usually has this kind of old stuff: http://stores.shop.ebay.ca/photo-widget__W0QQ_armrsZ1
