Just took delivery of a Bessa R with 35mm 2.5 lens, will go out lunch time to play with my new toy,I have checked a couple of web sites to see what filters are availible for 39mm thred cannot find any info,I want to put a skylight filter on before i start to use the camera,Any info Please

Dennis,
I ordered mine from B&H, but some have used Ebay to find them. If you want them now you will have to order them. I have a nice photo shop here in Enid, but they don't carry 39mm filters, too uncommon.

I got a Red filter from my local shop in town and he gave me a free UV filter after buying some other gear. I am sure there are plenty of onlineshops that sell 39mm filters 🙂

Along with Leica and Heliopan, B&W and Hoya also make 39mm filters, for a little less cost. Here is a page from our site sponsor Adorama. I am sure you can find them on your side of the puddle too.

also, check out the digital section of your camera store. 39 seems to fit some digicams.

Cheers Guys, Bought a B+W. UV on ebay yesterday afternoon for £16 was delivered this morning,I feel safer with the filter on the lens, I have scratched lenses in the past.
