Finally decided on which RF.

I've been lurking for some 12 months reading all the valuable and informative threads on the forum in an attempt to acquire my first rangefinder. I'm happy to say I have now decided and have en route a Hexar RF, 50mm Hexanon and 90mm Hexanon which should be with me soon.

My thanks to everybody across the whole RF forum for the discussions and opinions which helped me in my decision.

Your a great bunch.

Good choice, good man. Leicas in my hands have come and gone like they were underwear, but I've only ever bought one hexar RF, and It's the only M Mount rangefinder camera I'll ever use (besides hexar AF in in-door, dead silent situations). Why anyone would ever use a Leica when hexar RF exists is seriously beyond me, it is unarguably better in many many ways. Enjoy mate. Konica M-hexanon lenses are some of the best ever made for M Mount.
 
Welcome to the HRF experience. I like mine so much, I will buy a 2nd body next for more lens or film type flexibility.
 
The postman just made the delivery.

My first time looking through an RF viewfinder. Amazed at how bright and clear everything is.

It feels so solid and balanced too.

XP2 loaded and ready for tomorrow. Just hope I can do the camera justice!

Jeeze - I can't get this grin off my face :D
