Dear Bennyng, thanks. It's high probably the last Leica screwmount I purchase. I have alrreay have IIIF ED ST. Personally I prefer the look of IIIF but nothing can beat the IIIG's VF.Congrats Robin! So this will be your last Leica Screwmount!?

The best camera is one that still works!
Beautiful camera ... I had one a while ago and they are very special IMO. Sort of a transition into the M series with the extra 90mm frame lines and parallax correction.

I purchased a IIIg with Summicron lens two weeks ago. The shutter going off sounds very much like an M3 that I have. I am wondering if Leica was using the same shutter since they were producing both during the time that IIIg's were being produced?
