I have been wincing every time I check my website because it just look so outdated.

In conjunction with testing the fineartamerica as a platform to sell my photos, I updated the look of my website into this decade.

I'll spare you guys the old look, here is the new look:

And it even has a new page where you can buy my prints directly:

Please, if you don't mind, give me some input.
Thank you beforehand.

very appetizing site, will. i just would exchange the date titles for topical titles. as a viewer, i´m interested in the subjects, not in the day you published them.

cheers,
smp

Thanks for your input!

When you hover your mouse (or finger tap and swipe on tables and mobile devices) the title and a excerpt of the journal is displayed.

But you may be right, I may try replacing the date with the title.

it works as well as you did it, it´s just a tad more cluttered.

and: i miss a picture of you. it´s always interesting to see how the person behind the scenes looks like.

That is an interesting point.
Does a portrait help promote the website?

a portrait of the maker always personalizes a website, associates the artist and his art. i don´t know if that pushes sales, but it makes for a stronger connection between maker and viewer. that´s for me, at least.
