Finally, my first Leica M lens

I have a CV and some screw mount lens but not a Leica M lens. I went for a bargain KEH Elmar 3.5. From the image I see that the serial number starts with 114, that's all I can see.

I wanted a Summicron but there are so many different ones I figured I better do some research. What are your thought on the M Elmar 3.5s?

KEH uses stock photos for the gear, they are not indicative of your sample's serial number or condition.

Got it today and the serial was the same as in the photo online. It's a 1954 M 50mm 3.5 Elmar and it's in perfect shape. KEH has done me good again!!

It's mounted and ready to go. Didn't get a lens cap but I had a plastic one from some russian lens that I added camera foam to and it works. My guess is 39mm filter size? What about lens cap size?
