Battery life status...
Another month on, two more packs of film through the RF70, and the battery indicator is still showing all bars when I power up the camera. It now will display one bar down if I use the flash for three exposures.
As I get to know the RF70 more, I'm even more delighted with it. The SLR670 series cameras are more versatile and often produce better photos because of that, but the Instax Wide film is more consistent then the Polaroid Originals color film. It's a trade off, I like both cameras quite a lot.

Just ordered this camera from mint
Hi folks, new to this forum...
Reason is that I just went completely crazy during lockdown and ordered 3 weeks ago a polaroid sx70.
Never done much photography except for a Nikon P7100 that used take to concerts and learnt how to use in manual mode.
Last weeks with polaroid have been a bit of a hit and miss but overall pretty fun. I decided 2 days ago that wanted something with a bit more of punch in colours to complement my instant film shots and after some research bought this guy: the Mint RF70.
Now see all the discussion you had here and thought I'd register and say hi.
How is the camera working for those who bought it now that it's been a while with it.
Any changes in your perceptions?
Happy... disappointed?
Love some honesty... I can take it... at the end of the day it's supposed to be just fun.

HI Javier,
sorry for the late reply as I didn't see this comment.
I own one of the founder edition and still very happy with mine. It's like owning a Fuji GF670 but with Instax Wide instead of 120 film.
Using ND filters in day light is a must, I have the ND4 on all the time and only take it out in low light.
Only thing I wish is that Fuji makes an ISO 100 or 200 Instax Wide film.

Hi Javier! I missed your input to the thread until this morning when taemo posted another couple of photos.
The RF70 has been doing just fine by me. I shoot more with SX-70 format film (usually in a MiNT SLR670a/x these days) but the RF70 has its own special charm and the Fuji Instax film has a very different feel compared to the Polaroid films. I agree with taemo that the RF70 needs to be used with an ND4 filter most of the time in daylight. I wish there was a yellow filter for use with B&W as well.
I had some initial issues with battery life. MiNT took care of me very efficiently and mine has been an excellent performer ever since.
By and large, I tend to prefer the SX-70 cameras over the RF70 ... I prefer the SLR focusing and find them more compact and easier to deploy in use, and there are four film options (two slow, two fast of B&W and Color)... but the Polaroid film isn't quite as consistent as the Fuji Instax Wide film and takes a bit of learning to get the most out of.
It's all good, I'm happy with both camera types and use them as seems fun and apropos.
