After years of waffling (I don't "need" any additional camera equipment), I finally took the plunge with an S2. And I'm actually pleasantly surprised. It's no more difficult to focus then my two modern Leicas. I like the increased magnification (maybe there's an M3 in my future). The only other Nikon rangefinder I've had in my hands had a rangefinder patch that was ghostly in appearance. Very faint to the point of nonexistence.
And it was the history behind this specific camera that nudge me over the edge. It belonged to an avid amateur in the 1950's who was killed in a MVA in '58. It sat unused for more then 50 years. The family encouraged the widow (now 88 years old) to sell the camera so that she could do some traveling. I think I paid up for it, but it went to a good cause, and I have a feeling I'm carrying on a tradition with the camera (following the 50+ year hiatus).

Buy it off the USA market, what's what eBay is made for. Of course there are the customs, I don't know how Polish ones use to behave. But how the seller will fill the customs documentation and the shipping manner will count a lot - do not use any Express mail carrier, ask the seller to ship regular USPS Air instead. That stuff is now 55+ years old and went through duties enough already, customs don't need to make huge profit ontop private persons amicable deals re. that kind of very old film photo gear, you are not buying an Apple computer, diamonds or other little funny things.
S2s are excellent machines for sure, I'm a big fan of the life-size viewfinder.

Well done, Steve! Now you need to add a few more lenses. And perhaps another body. Or two.
