Not sure where to post this for sure.

Looking through our storage locker, I found a brand new Spiratone 20mm F/2.8 lens. I have no idea what mount is on it (the box does not say which mounting). I would guess Pentax (K) from looking at it, but not sure. I know Spiratone made many different mounts for their lenses. Does anyone know of a source to get a Leica M mount for this lens?

If its a PK mount, you can buy PK -> M adapters online in the usual places.

Without knowing what mount your lens has it is impossible for anyone, here or elsewhere, to tell you whether or not there's an adapter for it.

You could either post a good photo of the rear of the lens so that we can see what it looks like or you could check out sites like this one:

I was hoping that someone might know of a source for a Spiratone to Leica M adapter, that could replace the adapter that was already on the lens. I am sure the mount on the lens is one that was used for that particular camera. As I know Spiratone sold lenses for various cameras. I shall, however, follow up on the suggestions so far provided.

Just got an email.

I was told that I can get a Spiratone to Leica Screw mount adapter, without much problem. However, I would then need a Leica Screw Mount to M adapter; making the cost of the conversion on the expensive side. It was suggested I find which mount is one the camera (most likely a Pentax K as stated in a previous message) and then get a Pentax K to Leica M adapter; which the cost would be reasonable. I shall in the morning, dig out a few old bodies in storage and see which one the lens mounts onto.

A generic Leica screw mount to M adapter is about $10, delivered. The generic PK-M adapters are in the $35 bracket. Provided the Spiratone-screw mount adapter is <$30 if would think that would be your best option.
