The first 2.hand M9s can be expected to arrive on the market soon. Like: A M9 with a passport warranty - bought in London, included is offered on the 2.hand market here in Norway. (- Passport warranty is not included when sold from Norwegian sources).

I a german forum someone sold a 2nd hand M9 for 4990 EUR. Credible seller, he posted a lot of pictures over a period of two month in that forum.

I imagine there will be more of them soon. Many who bought it because it's the newest thing, the "best" thing, will realise that it does not suit them.

- Which is 'about' the price I am willing to give for one. I see no reason to pay more for a 2.hand M9 than what they are sold for new 'tax free' in USA, Singapore, Abu Dabi etc.

opening the box takes 40% off...so i'd only pay $4200 for a used m9 in like new condition. on the other hand, it's still a new camera and they haven't made enough for the initial burst.

Actually, it's the second one (to my knowledge). The first one (to my knowledge) sold last week, a friend of mine bought it.

It was put up for 50000 NOK, but in the end he paid 40000, due to some VAT refunds that the original owner managed to organize. Didn't ask for the details though.

That is the price I will be willing to pay: NOK 40.000.
You don't have to pay VAT (moms) on 2.hand gear in Norway. A professional photographer with his own company will get the VAT refunded even when buying a new camera.
