First 4 rolls with Zeiss 28 Biogon

used Realia 100, Fuji 200, Fuji 400 (2) negative films. Scanned at Costco. Picasa "one click" fix on 3 rolls, cropping on a couple of edge of the roll photos.

But it is a cruel thing to show a man who recently sold his Leica 28/2.8 ;)

If you ever get the wide angle bug, there is that latest ultra small 28 asph elmarit...too pricey for me, and I think hard to find. I'm keeping my eyes open for 90 elmarits (thin post '74 without fungus, or latest), and hexanon anything.

I had a pre asph elmarit and it was really a fantastic lens, I do regret selling it but 35 is just a bit too wide for me. I don't think I'l ever want to go wider then a 35, I think it's time for me to really master one focal length right now. (Or Two, but the 75 is a different animal with different purposes)

I've thought that too, but at least with film or full frame, the wides let you get a lot of DOF with handheld speeds, readily available film speeds, etc. the trick is to never focus on infinity, but always use hyperfocal or your dof table on the lens.

With digital, you can do anything. I can always get 10x better low-light photos in bars with my p&s ISO 3200 digicams than any leica film user in low light bar scenes, but you can't control the DOF and focus accurately.

It isn't for my street shooting and some landscapes. Hence, I went for the ZM 25; I call it the storyteller lens....it is so frigging awesome:)

The ZM 25 is frigging awesome :) but the 21 SA-M is a little bit wider :rolleyes::)
