They do seem to do a lot of arm pit sniffing. Personally I'm all for it. I reckon deodorant is the main cause of divorce: people can't smell each other anymore.

hehe. now that you mention it, lorriman, it's true: even the statue does lift up his arm in a funny way.

Exposure is always based on shadow details for negs. Thus the adage, expose for the shadows and develop for the highlights.

No, but they were overexposed looking too. Thanks to this thread, I went back and played with them in lightroom. I am tweaking the other photos too and I can see the difference in exposure in my smugmug account http://www.patb.smugmug.com/ The tweaked versions look dim compared to the rest 😛

LOL, that is the only reason I took that shot. I thought the statue looked weird from where I was standing 😀
