Congratulations! I never had a Contax until 2018, but it is one of my favorite film cameras, and I have used the Contax iia I got a lot over the last 1.5-2 years. Great shots! The f2 Sonnar is a beautiful lens.

Besides a gorgeous piece of machinery the Sonnar really is nice. Mark Hansen CLA'd the body and Dan Daniel from here CLA'd the lens for me when he was doing some work on other cameras. Mark sent a report with shutter speed results and they are all pretty on though of course 1/1250 is just under 1/1000

My 1937 Contax II with post-war 50/2 Sonnar can still produce a good photo. The shutter and rangefinder are still accurate.
