My first post here after lurking around gathering infos from you fine people. Got my first rangefinder off eBay for US$20 and work great on first roll. Taken at an old cathedral right here in Singapore on a gloomy day.

Looking at these pictures make me wonder why some folks pay all that money for a Leica.
Nice work,
John

John,

Some need to see how far those German clones of the FED have progressed! 😀 😀 😀

Killer Gerbil,

Welcome to RFF. Are you from Singapore? I've some friends there who are Russian camera fans.

Gorgeous. Don't tell anybody this secret. Some RFF memebers buy BW400 for $20 a roll. 😀
You can be proud with these images. Good light condition for ISO 400

Kodak BW400 sells for less than $9 for 3 rolls of 24 exp at our local Wal Mart and they process C41 into 4X6 prints for $.26 ea. (1 hour processing ) but I don`t expect to see this film there much longer as it is a slow seller and anything that sits there too long on a WalMart shelf is destined to dissapear permanently.

Thanks all for nice comments. I'm definitely going to play around and get accustomed with my lovely Feddy and learn more from this wonderful forum.

Yes I'm from Singapore and films are relatively cheap here.

Great first try with the Fed. I need to finish up my first Fed2 roll. Mine was also $20 off ebay, but it needed a CLA do to a messed up Industar 26.
Welcome to the RFF
