Comments Please, a couple of "First" here:
1. First Roll with Rollei RF and Sonnar 2.8/40mm
2. First Roll of Arista Premium 400 in ID-11
Also if you have advise regarding the scanning would be very helpfull.
Thank you

Looks like the lens is nice and sharp. It would be interesting to see some shots taken on slower film.
The picket fence shot shows the texture of the wood and you can almost reach out and touch it. The other two look razor sharp too.
Is the lens a Sonnar or a Tessar?

to talk about lens sharpness- you should post 100 % crop . And do not USM like you did

Thanks for the comments, yes i have loaded Fomapan100 right now, and could you please explain "USM", don't know what it means. I have trouble getting the images to show and have to resize to a smaller size, me thinks.
Thanks
Mike

I've got one as well and it's my very favorite camera/lens combo. The beauty of the color and contrast are the best I've ever used. Enjoy it!

I've enjoyed this camera and lens over the years, especially the lens. It really makes images pop and is very sharp. Have fun.

Thanks for your comments,
regarding the unsharp mask i figured out that when you resize your image in Irfanview it will sharpen the smaller image, there is a little box which is hooked saying "Apply sharpen after resample".
Thats where the sharpen came in i asume.
At present my work flow is very simple:
Scan via Plustek7600 and Vuescan, pretty much standard default settings. This creates files in TIF format pretty large 25 to 35 Mbyte.
After scanning a roll or part of a roll, i open each file in Irfanview and resize/resample the image so it will be manageble over the internet.
Then i save as a jpg file and thats it.
In any case the next roll is Fomapan 100 and it will have less grain. I hope.
Thank you again
