So came the day I had been waiting for, and with it my (like) new Elmarit 24 mm ASPH.
What a gorgeous lens, man! Build quality is at top levels, nicely balanced weight on my M9-P and (as pretty obvious) it opens for very interesting possibilities when it comes to composition.
I took a few street photos yesterday evening, all at 1000 ISO, and despite the high ISO setting the lens seems extremely sharp even wide open. The main challenge being that depth of field is.. a lot, and it sometimes becomes difficult to avoid distracting elements behind the subject.
