First LF Landscape Photos

Well, mixed results from my first large format landscapes. I do have 3 worth showing, at least not worth hiding.

All shots were on fp4, with a yellow filter. Developed in Barry Thorton's two bath formula. I managed to compose pretty well on the ground glass. No significant cropping on these and only one had a slight tweak to fix a perspective issue I'd not gotten right in the camera.

With the super angulon 90mm f8.

I'm not sold on the first one either. There was that nice little memorial for someone's dog, and I wanted to shoot it, but someone put that 100+ year old saguaro in the way.

I'm using an old 4x5 super graphic. I bought a crown, but since I like vertical compositions so much, I figured I needed the Super instead.
Front rise is a good thing.

I especially like #3. I think I would crop the bottom to the base of the foremost cactus on the right. I find the small cactus to the left and the brush in the foreground a bit distracting. The repeating cactus make a fairly strong image.
