One of my best friends gave me the perfect birthday present this year.. a nice wooden box filled with 10 Rolls of Rollei Pan 25!
I´ve just enlarged some of the neg´s yesterday and I´m quite surprised by the resolution this film offers so I thought I´d share my expereince...
The film has a very clear base which helps with scanning IMO but it curls pretty nasty. since I had nothing other at hand I developed in my standard soup which is Rodinal 1:100 for 20min /20°C .. from observing the neg´s it looks like it´s underdeveloped/underexposed a little but the Tonality is very fine nevertheless.
The examples are from the Scan I did with my Minolta DS IV and it should be noted that the grain is less prominent in the prints from my V35 also a bit more definition of fine detail can be observed on the wet print.
(other dev should give better grain anyways...I´m geting a few ampulles of Neofin Blue soon!)
the picture is boring per se but i think it shows what this film is capable of.
Handheld with Leica M6 and collapsible Summicron @ 5,6 1/250
Whole view:
100% crop (no unsharp mask):
