First month with the Bessa R

Here are some of the photos from my first rolls with the lovely Bessa R. Any comments would be much appreciated!

Industar-61 L/D 55/2.8, Fuji Superia 200 (test roll, I'd never used the lens before):

I had never shot a concert with a film camera before; I'm pleased with the results! The R will definitely replace my D70 at many future concerts.

Looking good! The Industar seems to do a good job as does the 35 as always 😉 Nice one 🙂 Looks like you like the R 🙂

How did you develop the Tri-x at both 400 and 320?

tbm: I didn't (cv-01 is from a different roll), but according to Kodak (http://www.kodak.com/global/en/professional/support/techPubs/f9/f9.jhtml),
"Because of the film's exposure latitude, you can underexpose by one stop at EI800 and use normal processing times. Prints will show a slight loss in shadow detail."

The shots with the Industrar-61 have turned out great. Reasons for purchasing a Bessa R are looking better and better 🙂

I like your shots with the Industar. I am a little unfamiliar with the Russian lenses but this one looks really nice. Is this a collapsible lens?

The Industar 61L/D is a rigid lens. They are going for very low prices on eb*y these days.

I use one on my Bessa R and I have grown to enjoy what happens with brilliant specular highlights from this lens.

We're all pleased you like that beloved Bessa R ! Was the concert good ? I like Camera Obscura a lot, I hope they'll come to France soon !

Nice work! I haven't been to a concert in a while and, around here anyway, one's not allowed to bring cameras anymore. I especially liked the river picture in the color ones. The four of the band are very good!
