First OM

Oops?:bang:

Well, an OM-4 is still a good camera. What you will need to do is to try to remember to take the batteries out when you aren't using it. This is tedious but if you get into a routine, then won't be a problem. The light metering - and particularly the multi-spot facility - are superb and it will work very well with an Olympus T-32 strobe which can be picked up for very little. So not a disaster.

Another yes on the 35-105. It seems to be an unknown lens.

I also recommend the 35-70/3.5-4.5 Zuiko. It's compact, sharp and very flexible. Hardly bigger than a 50mm. A perfect tourist lens.

The one I had was awful - soft throughout the range - although I accept I may just have had a bad example. I'm constitutionally biased against zooms because they make me into a lazy photographer. For me the joy of the OM system is that prime lenses are so affordable.
