Ok, we have a thread asking what was your first RF so now lets show some first photos taken with it
Here are some I took with the GSN and the Canonet
The beach photo is me 100 Lbs. lighter and 30 years younger
The group photo shot was in Tokyo
The ship photo was at Cam Rhan Bay, Viet Nam
The helo shot was during the evac of Saigon
All taken in the mid '70's

The first shot is from the first color roll I put through the Canonet 28...I believe it was Fuji Super HQ 100. The other three are most likely HP5 or Delta 100.

I already posted this in the bridge thread. This was one of the first color rolls I ever shot, if not *the* first. Kodacolor-X, on the original Mamiya SD.

This is a new scan from the old negative. All I ever had of this one until recently was the 4x6 color print, and I always thought of it as a so-so shot. I scanned it, straightened it, and cropped a bit. I like it much better now.

I think this came out amazingly well since the shot was taken about 1970. 🙂

There are a number of others taken with this camera in the "Very Old Stuff" folder in my gallery.

Aside from a Kodak Signet 40 I had in high school (no surviving pictures), my first real RF was a Minolta HiMatic 7 I purchased in 1965. I traded in an Exacta with waist-level finder to be able to afford it. Here are two pics I took with that camera in 1965 and 1968 respectively:

1. A friend of mine riding a bull at an Indian rodeo in Cibacue, AZ
2. The old Mill St Bridge over the Salt River in Tempe, AZ (later washed away in a flood)
