First photos from my new Mamiya 7

In my last post it was suggested that my first shots should be of the fantastic girlfriend who bought me the camera for my birthday. So here here are my first two shots.

The camera is a dream to use with the brightest viewfinder I have used which makes composing and focusing very easy.

The film was Pan F (year and half old) developed in Microphen and scanned with Minolta Scan Multi Pro colour positive then inverted in PS.

One thing for sure the re-sized images do not do the full scans justice. At 2400dpi the detail is amazing.

She's not super happy with this shot as she thinks I caught her half blinking. Maybe...

The 'wonky' eye is getting some laughs between the two of us 🙂

But you are all right. No plans to trade this one in yet and I have already started dropping hints of what lens are needed to round out the kit...
